Going to put a 90 on a 15" AB VST rib. Overpowered I know, but exact same size and weight as the recommended 75, just a different computer. So for a few hundred more, and better resale, and etc.... Now for safety sake, I want to put some kind of mechanical throttle linkage limitation. Suggestions? Thank you. Alan |

Self control and common sense. If you're concerned or feel the boat is somewhat unstable because of too much power back it off a bit. They design on the safe side so an extra 15 hp is likely no problem. Likely others will disagree. |

Reply with quote | #3 | Thanks for the other wise obvious advice, now to protect against accidental throttle advancment to max (however it may happen) is there a way to limit the throttle linkage via a tie wrap/zip tie or...? Thank you |
