Going to put a 90 on a 15" AB VST rib.  Overpowered I know, but exact same size and weight as the recommended 75, just a different computer.  So for a few hundred more, and better resale, and etc....  Now for safety sake, I want to put some kind of mechanical throttle linkage limitation.  Suggestions?  Thank you.  Alan

Self control and common sense.  If you're concerned or feel the boat is somewhat unstable because of too much power back it off a bit.  They design on the safe side so an extra 15 hp is likely no problem.  Likely others will disagree.

Thanks for the other wise obvious advice, now to protect against accidental throttle advancment to max (however it may happen) is there a way to limit the throttle linkage via a tie wrap/zip tie or...?
Thank you
