1988 Cobra...
According to Stuart Hastings, the shifter height should be 7 13/64" from casing to the top of the shifter. With about 1/2" of travel between forward and reverse, how do you measure it? If I try to get this measurement when resting down the on the edge of reverse, the shifting rod completely unscrews.
